How does it work?
Try to select the white characters with the black background at the top by dragging the tiles in the right position.
Then press the "Match!" button.

What is the regex flavour used?
PCRE

What does the button "Match" do?
It will check if the pattern selects the right matches.
- If the pattern is ok, there will be a green checkmark in the match button At the bottom there will be an explanation of the used pattern parts
- If the pattern is not correct, there will be a red cross instead

What does the "Clear" button do?
It will reset all the dragged tiles to the base position.

What does the "Shuffle" button do?
It will shuffle the tiles at the base position.

Do I have to use all the tiles for a match?
No yo don't have to use all tiles.

If the pattern is ok, will it be remembered?
If you select a question to play from the questions list, you will see a green checkmark before the question that was marked as ok.
Clicking it will reload the pattern and it will display the found solution.

Where do you keep track of the patterns I solved?

How to I reset all green checkmarks?
When you pick a question to play, a button at the top will appear to reset the already solved questions.
